The University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources is seeking farmers, other vendors and Husker departments to participate in the third annual East Campus Discovery Days and Farmers Market.

The final East Campus Discovery Days and Farmers Market event of 2022 is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 13.

“If you learn how to hold an insect and learn, they aren’t scary,” said Associate Professor of Entomology Doug Golick. “If you can engage with them, there’s less fear, and I think kids love to hold insects.”

East Campus Discovery Days and Farmers Market will return to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s East Campus on Saturday, July 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with vendors, live music, food trucks, educational activities for all ages and more.
